First person to reply to Equius over the chanter. Their interactions vary - sometimes they get along okay, otherwise they can be pretty rocky. Recently, his stance on the Hemospectrum torqued her off, and she tried to provoke him into killing her, or at least attacking. He doesn't want to, however, because the Alternian Troll is an endangered species, and he usually finds her amusing.
If love at first sight exists, these two would be an example of it. West came to Equius's assistance upon his arrival, and they immediately began bonding over SCIENCE! and things you can do with dead bodies. Sure, they have ups and downs - West doesn't quite trust Equius's fidelity and Equius fears he will drive West off - but they muddle along as best as two socially awkward eggheads can. They tend to relentlessly stalk each other, and Equius will bring him up any chance he gets.
Knew Equius from a previous game, but unfortunately for the spidertroll, he had his memories of said game erased. As such, Equius doesn't understand why Lyn is constantly attacking him verbally, because as far as he can tell, they are strangers. It was funny at first, but it got old (and hurtful) quickly. Equius tells himself that he shouldn't care what Lyn thinks about him, but the other troll never has any problem tearing down his defenses.
While it's irrelevant to their interactions on the whole, it's interesting to note that their SGRUB aspects, Void and Shadow, are fairly similar.
Sadly, not the guy Equius used to have fun hate-shenanigans with back on his version of Alternia. Still! They pretty actively hate each other, even if it's in more of a platonic measure.
Another person Equius knew from home, but isn't the same. Equius tends to see him as the equivalent of a younger human sibling. He's annoying and whiny, but he's so used to it that it's only eyeroll worthy at best. Sadly, he hasn't seem him around lately.
A seatroll who split her clothes when she arrived in Cypher. Equius tried toadying up to her (and getting her to dress proper), but she wouldn't have any of it. They mostly just roll their eyes at each other now.
Equius was at first disappointed to find out she wasn't the ancestor he thought she was. It didn't last long. She quickly won him over by being the ideal troll woman sweeping him up under her wing. Sometimes, he worries that he disappoints her, since he's not the go-getter she is, but she hasn't disowned him yet, so that's a good start, right? Lately, he's taken to calling her Mama after picking up bits of human culture from West.
Eridan's ancestor. Probably someone he should take seriously, but mostly doesn't. Mindfang never did, after all. According to Lyn, he was in a relationship with Dualscar once, but since he has no memory of this, he finds the idea rather silly. He is kind of hot, though
Equius is torn between utter condescension and screaming in fear. The Gamzee he's familiar with is as harmless as a pillow, and this one is clearly not all there, a combination which makes it hard for him to take the troll seriously. Still, he can't shaking that basic, instinctual fear that indigobloods inspire.
